WHO LIVES IN YOUR YARD?

What plant friends live in your yard and garden?  Have you thought about inviting medicinal and culinary plants to your garden, but aren’t sure where to begin?

Join Sue Miller, L.Ac., for a day-long introduction to medicinal plants that you can grow in your own backyard.  This workshop will focus on herbs for acute care and for culinary uses.  We will discuss the basics of plant selection, soil preparation, planting, harvesting and composting.  Additionally, we will learn some simple ways of preparing your herbs for home use.

Susan R. Miller, L.A., is a practitioner of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as a professional gardener.  Working with both the inner and outer landscapes, she combines her love of energy healing with her love of nature.  In her workshops, Sue explores the importance of reconnecting with the energies of the natural world and using these energies as a means of coming to know ourselves.
