DANCING
WITH NATURE'S RHYTHMS Who are you?
How do you interpret yourself – your moods, your reactions in different
situations, your ups and downs? How
do you interpret the energies that constantly move through you and around you?
Who are you in relation to all other beings in the cosmos?
Where do you fit within the circle of life? Dancing With Nature’s Rhythms is an introduction to the Oriental Medicine theory of the Five Elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water). Based on their study of the seasons and cycles of nature, the ancient sages came to understand that what they observed in the outer landscape could be applied to an individual’s inner landscape as well. Working with these elements can provide us with a useful tool for learning about ourselves as part of nature and ultimately reestablishing our connection to--and place in--that great circle of energy we call life. Susan R. Miller, L.A., is a practitioner of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as a professional gardener. Working with both the inner and outer landscapes, she combines her love of energy healing with her love of nature. In her workshops, Sue explores the importance of reconnecting with the energies of the natural world and using these energies as a means of coming to know ourselves. Date: February 15 (Friday) Time: Pot Luck at 6:00, Class runs 7:00 - 9:00 Fee : $45 Class Size Limit: 15 participants |
